This past Friday, the Plenary of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation, in a private session, granted a second extension to the Congress of the Union to issue the new legislation in relation to cannabis, which expires on December 15, 2020, on which date the second ordinary period of sessions would conclude.
By instructions of the president of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation, Arturo Zaldívar Lelo de Larrea, the Court Clerk, Rafael Coello Cetina, gave notice of the new period through official notice number SGA/MFEN/287/2020 to Mónica Fernández Balboa, president of the Managing Committee of the Senate.
