Melissa specializes in resolving tax and administrative disputes, providing counsel to domestic and international companies across various sectors and industries. Her practice is centered on advising these companies in fulfilling their tax obligations, including handling and tracking audits and implementing various defense mechanisms, such as revocation appeals, nullity lawsuits, and injunctions before jurisdictional authorities, both federal and local. She has been involved in negotiating and resolving major and complex alternative dispute resolution cases before Mexico’s Taxpayers Ombudsman (Prodecon).
