Extension of the suspension of activities and terms of the Federal Court of Administrative Justice

Extension of the suspension of activities and terms of the Federal Court of Administrative Justice

Due to the COVID-19 contingency, on April 28, 2020, agreement SS/12/2020, issued by the Plenary of the Superior Chamber of said Court, was published on the official website of the Federal Court of Administrative Justice (TFJA), by means of which the initial suspension of terms and activities running from March 18 to May 5, 2020, was extended. In this regard, the TFJA will remain closed and the counting of terms will remain suspended until May 29, 2020.

The aforementioned agreement also established that, despite the fact that the TFJA offices will remain closed and terms suspended, the Jurisdictional Plenary and the Sections of the Superior Chamber will hold sessions remotely on a regular basis during May, through the video conference system, on the matters for which a draft judgment already exists. All pending motions may be filed before the TFJA as of June 1, 2020; including those whose deadline expired during the suspension period.
