Fernando Carreño, Paloma Alcántara - Global Competition Review, The Antitrust Review of the Americas - Mexico: Overview, January 2015.
The significant changes recently made in Mexico to the Federal Economic Competition Law are considered a major step forward for our continent, both legislatively and in practice. Today, the tension in the flow of investments in each country has become an area of considerable global importance. In this regard, it is important to have a legal system that provides efficiency, continuity and success in these types of operations, allowing the necessary control over markets to always be maintained in order to eliminate monopolies and encourage fair competition.
