Von Wobeser y Sierra is pleased to announce the appointment of Fernando Carreño as a partner of this firm. Fernando Carreño heads the Antitrust area of VWyS and also performs substantial work in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, project financing, debt restructuring, and international commercial arbitration. Fernando Carreño graduated from the Escuela Libre de Derecho (cum laude) and completed Master's studies at Northwestern University School of Law. He was a visiting attorney at the firm Arent Fox LLP in Washington DC. He has been a full professor of the subjects Property and Real Rights and Alternative Dispute Resolution at the Universidad Iberoamericana, as well as of the Mergers and Acquisitions Module in the graduate program in Commercial Law at the Universidad Panamericana.
