Dear clients and friends, On 19 February 2014, the Federal Executive submitted to the Chamber of Deputies of the Congress of the Union the initiative for the new Federal Economic Competition Law (the "LFCE"), as a consequence of the constitutional reform in matters of economic competition and telecommunications published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on 11 June 2013. Said initiative will be analyzed and discussed by both Chambers of the Congress of the Union in the coming days, prior to its possible approval and publication.
