New extension of the suspension of the activities and terms of the National Copyright Institute

New extension of the suspension of the activities and terms of the National Copyright Institute

Due to the COVID-19 contingency, on June 11, 2020, the Agreement whereby the National Copyright Institute (INDAutor) extended the initial suspension of deadlines and activities that ran from March 26 to June 15, 2020 was published in the Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF). Under the terms of this new Agreement, INDAutor will remain closed and the terms will remain suspended until further notice.

The suspension of activities and deadlines will be guided by the determinations, announcements and measures that, in a coordinated manner, are established by the health authorities of Mexico, the Secretariat of Culture and the government of Mexico City. The remaining provisions of the Agreement published in the DOF on April 17, 2020 will continue to have full effect until INDAutor resumes its activities.
