On April 13, 2020, the Federal Court of Administrative Justice (“TFJA”) issued agreement SS/11/2020, through which it extended the suspension of terms and jurisdictional activities from April 20 to May 5, 2020. Said agreement was published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on April 17, 2020.
Likewise, on April 17, 2020, the agreement issued by the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (“IMPI”), dated April 13, 2020, was published in the Official Gazette of the Federation, whereby said Institute determined to extend the suspension of its activities and time periods until April 30, 2020. As of April 16, 2020, IMPI enabled the online submission of registration applications and filings (through its electronic portal). These applications and filings will bear as their filing date the day on which they are submitted through the online portal and at that moment they will be assigned the corresponding file/folio number. Finally, on April 3, 2020, the National Copyright Institute (“INDAutor”) issued the agreement whereby the suspension of time periods and activities will be moved to April 30, 2020. On April 17, 2020, said agreement was published in the Official Gazette of the Federation.
