These regulations set out the guidelines that employers who establish food assistance schemes for their workers must follow. These regulations set out the guidelines that employers who establish food assistance schemes for their workers must follow.

June 11, 2015.Dear clients and friends,On June 4 of this year, the Regulations of the Food Assistance Law for Workers were published in the Official Gazette of the Federation, Regulations that set out the guidelines that employers who establish food assistance schemes for their workers must follow, the most important rules being the following: 1. Employers who establish food assistance schemes must have contracts entered into in writing with: (i) cafeteria service providers; (ii) restaurants or dining establishments; (iii) voucher issuers, or (iv) grocery suppliers. 2. Employers must have physical or electronic supporting documentation evidencing that the workers received the food assistance. Such supporting documentation must contain at least: worker's name, RFC, CURP, food assistance modality, amount quantifiable in money, and the date or period of application of the assistance.
