The new partners are Rodrigo Barradas, Michel Llorens, Luis Enrique Torres and Ricardo Cacho. Rodrigo Barradas has more than fifteen years of experience in dispute resolution. He plays an important role in the Arbitration and Litigation practices, and is part of the Energy and Natural Resources industry group. Michel Llorens has more than eleven years of experience in antitrust, with a focus on complex mergers and anticompetitive practices across various industries. His experience includes a period as in-house counsel at Pemex (Petróleos Mexicanos). Michel's promotion strengthens the firm's ability to represent clients in sensitive antitrust matters. Luis Enrique Torres brings more than seventeen years of experience in tax and administrative litigation, alternative dispute resolution mechanisms and tax consulting. He has litigated complex matters before federal and local courts, as well as before the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation. Luis Enrique is one of the most experienced attorneys in the use of alternative dispute resolution mechanisms in tax matters in Mexico. He also advises domestic and multinational companies on international corporate structuring, as well as on various types of transactions (including mergers and acquisitions and financial operations). His promotion strengthens the firm's tax practice. Ricardo Cacho has more than seventeen years of experience in criminal law, with a focus on financial and tax crimes. Since joining the firm in 2024, he has successfully led a series of sensitive and complex investigations for clients across various industries. Before joining the firm, he led investigations into financial and tax crimes, handled oral trials for tax fraud, conducted legislative negotiations, oversaw high-profile criminal proceedings and litigated before the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation.
