  • Juan Francisco is an associate at Von Wobeser y Sierra, with over ten years of experience in Arbitration, Anti-corruption & Compliance, Litigation, and Bankruptcy & Restructuring.


    He advises Mexican and international clients on complex disputes. He has represented clients in national and international arbitrations and litigations under the rules of major arbitral institutions, in matters related to Mexico, the United States, Latin America, and Europe. His practice covers key sectors such as energy, construction, and automotive, and includes commercial contractual disputes, shareholder disputes, amparo proceedings, injunctive relief, class actions, and cases involving allegations of corruption.

    In the Anti-corruption and Compliance area, he has participated in complex investigations across Latin America, including matters involving the FCPA, and has supported interactions with the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ). He also has experience in insolvency proceedings and cross-border restructuring, representing both creditors and debtors.

    He worked for nearly three years in the United States as part of one of the leading practices of a firm included in The American Lawyer’s “The A-List.”

    His pro bono work has benefited migrants, refugees, and human rights organizations. He has been invited to speak and lecture at Mexican universities and international forums.
