Patricia is a partner of Von Wobeser y Sierra with more than eighteen years of experience in Industrial and Intellectual Property who is known inside and outside of Mexico as an outstanding IP lawyer. She is part of the ESG practice group (Environmental, Social and Governance).
Patricia has advised global, multinational companies who are leaders in their industries and law firms in many parts of the world that entrust their most important industrial and intellectual property matters to her. She also counsels them on their major legal strategic decisions and their daily operations.
She has studied in the best universities in Mexico and the United States and has professional experience in both countries. She has participated in some of the most important IP lawsuits in Mexico and in renowned M&A transactions where intellectual property is one of the most important assets.
Her expertise covers all aspects of intellectual property: trademarks, industrial secrets, copyright, domain names, portfolio management, unfair competition, invalidation, cancellation and infringement actions, administrative and constitutional amparo proceedings related to IP and advertising, consumer protection and product liability, trademark licensing, acquisition of IP rights, franchises, marketing campaigns, due diligence, among others.
During the past couple of years, Patricia has brought important clients to the firm. In 2020, Von Wobeser y Sierra made her partner in charge of the Intellectual Property area of the firm because of her performance and leadership over more than fifteen years. She is an active member of the most important intellectual property associations of Mexico and the International Trademark Association (INTA).
