Alexander is an associate of Von Wobeser y Sierra and works principally in the Arbitration practice group of the firm.
Alexander appears as counsel in domestic and cross-border disputes. He focuses on both international commercial and investment arbitration, including complex cross-border energy and construction disputes, and he supports a number of international arbitration proceedings. He has successfully argued US federal and state laws, and Latin American and European states’ civil and administrative laws, in public works arbitrations related to both Mexican and overseas projects. He also advises foreign investors on their rights under applicable bilateral and multilateral investment treaties and free trade agreements. Before joining the firm, he completed his legal education in the United Kingdom, and studied advanced courses in public and private international law at The Hague Academy of International Law.
Alexander is not yet admitted to practice before the Mexican Federal or State Courts and therefore he participates exclusively in the firm’s arbitration and, on occasion, anti-corruption matters.
