Eric is counsel at Von Wobeser y Sierra. With over twelve years of experience, he is part of the Tax practice, with special focus on consulting.
His practice is specialized in tax consulting, advising both domestic and international clients across a broad range of sectors and transactions, including corporate restructuring (M&A), cross-border operations, digital economy, and private equity structures, among others. His ability to identify clients' needs and opportunities has been a cornerstone of his practice. Additionally, Eric supports the tax litigation practice with technical accounting and legal content in complex matters.
He provides wealth advisory for individuals, analyzes international treaties to avoid double taxation, advises and supports clients during tax audits by the Tax Administration Service (SAT), and in disputes before Mexico’s Taxpayers Ombudsman (Prodecon). He handles company sales and acquisitions, investment funds, real estate investment trusts (REITs), federal tax refunds, and VAT and excise tax advisory, among other matters.
Eric is also a professor of Tax Law at Anáhuac Norte University and has been recognized by The Legal 500 as a “Rising Star” in tax consulting in Mexico.
