Today the Federal Ministry of Energy ("SENER") published in the evening edition of the Federal Official Gazette the "Agreement providing the suspension of legal terms in the Federal Ministry of Energy, as a preventive measure against the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic.” ("Agreement").
The Agreement provides the suspension of legal terms for acts and proceedings carried out by and with the SENER, during the period from today through April 19, 2020.
During the above mentioned period, the acts, notices, requests and promotions filed before SENER will be considered as if they were filed on April 20, 2020.
The Agreement sets forth that during the referred period, days and hours may be enabled in order to attend matters whose urgency and relevance requires so.
Finally, the Agreement provides that the administrative procedures for acquisitions, leases and services, which execution is extremely urgent, are exempt from the suspension of legal terms.
