The application of the extraordinary actions adopted against the SARS-CoV2 virus (COVID-19) is modified

Today a ruling was published in the Official Federal Gazette modifying the application of some of the extraordinary measures adopted by ruling of March 31, 2020.

The suspension of all activities considered non-essential is extended until May 30, 2020, but it is clarified that the suspension will cease to be implemented beginning on May 18 in the municipalities of the country that today present low or no transmission of the virus. However, it is specified that the stay at home directive for people belonging to vulnerable groups will remain in force until further notice.

It is also specified that the Ministry of Health will determine the criteria for evaluating the intensity of the transmission of the virus, the factors related to the risk of propagation, and the guidelines for reducing the mobility between municipalities with different degrees of propagation.

Finally, certain obligations are imposed on the states such as implementing measures for prevention, control and reduction of mobility of habitants between municipalities in accordance with the general criteria issued by the Ministry of Health, and carrying out the conversion and expansion of their hospitals in order to guarantee timely care for the population.
