This past April 9th, the Chamber of Deputies approved a bill reforming articles 33 and 1006 of the Federal Labor Law regarding the signing of blank documents, which was presented by members of the Citizens Movement and the Institutional Revolutionary Party.

On February 19th 2015 Retired Presiding Justice Ortiz Mayagoitia and Diego Sierra participated (as expert and rapporteur, respectively) in the London high-level meeting hosted by IBA President David W. Rivkin and both are eager to continue contributing to the IBA efforts to raise ethical standards in the legal profession. This meeting focused on developing ideas for the IBA Judicial Integrity Initiative, a new project aimed at combating judicial corruption. Other notable individuals that took part in the inaugural meeting are current and former chiefs of justice from several jurisdictions and representatives from, among others: the Organization for Economic Co-operation (OECD); the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
